1.What club does the PERFECT CLUB 347 replace?
It replaces your 3 & 4 irons and 7 wood.
2.How far should I be able to hit the PERFECT CLUB 347?
10-25 yards further than your 5 iron.
3.Why is it a better choice than my 3 & 4 irons and 7 wood?
The answer to this question gives the #1 point of difference between the PERFECT CLUB and the competition. The PERFECT CLUB 347 has a much shorter shaft which puts you closer to the ball therefore giving you much more confidence, making it much easier to hit, and MUCH easier to control. The average 7 wood is 41.5 inches long. The average length of the other "utility" woods is also 41.5 inches. The PERFECT CLUB is 39" long, which is a full 2.5 inches shorter than a 7 wood. That is a HUGE difference in golf. The shortest shaft in the golf bag is the putter. Why? Because the shorter the shaft, the more control you have on the ball. The shorter shaft also gives us the ability to add weight to the head while maintaining a constant swing weight. The additional head weight gives the PERFECT CLUB more mass which enables you to hit the ball farther, higher, and straighter.
Shorter shaft, more upright lie angle, and increased head weight (the benefits of which are detailed above) are the primary differences between the PERFECT CLUB and other fairway woods and utility clubs.
4.Why can't I just cut down my 5 & 7 woods and utility clubs to the length of the PERFECT CLUB?
Two reasons. First, all woods have a built in lie angle, the angle at which the shaft enters the clubhead. This lie angle is cast into the clubhead and cannot be adjusted. If you cut down your 7 wood you will be bringing the ball closer to you at address. The 7 wood's lie angle would be too flat for the shorter length causing the toe of the club to dig into the ground at impact resulting in a shot that goes DEAD RIGHT. Secondly, by cutting down your seven wood or utility club, you would dramatically lighten the club's swing weight and overall mass. This would cause your shots to be hit a much shorter distance.
5.What shaft flexes are available in the PERFECT CLUB 347?
The PERFECT CLUB comes standard with an R/S flex for men and an A flex for ladies. Due to the shortness of the shaft and the larger diameter of the shaft tip, one flex fits all. There is no material difference in the ball flight using different flex shafts at various swing speeds.
6.Does it conform with USGA Rules?
Conforms with USGA Rules.
7.Tell me about torque and tip diameter.
Shafts enter golf clubheads at the heel, or better said, on one end of the clubhead. Therefore, when the ball is hit, it causes the clubhead to attempt to twist or turn the toe of the head in the opposite direction the heel is moving. This twisting energy is called torque. Simply put, the larger the diameter of the shaft, the less torque you will experience in the clubhead. The PERFECT CLUB has a larger diameter shaft tip than that found in most metal woods thereby giving the clubhead greater stability resulting in much straighter shots.
8.What is the loft of the PERFECT CLUB?
The Perfect Club 347 has 21 degrees of loft, which, when combined with the shaft length and head weight gives you the distance and accuracy and ease in striking you wish you could get from your 3 & 4 irons and 7 wood.
9.Why is the PERFECT CLUB 347 much easier to hit than my 3 & 4 irons and 7 wood?
The design of the Perfect Club instinctively forces you to place the ball in the center of your stance - just where you would instinctively play an 8 iron or a pitching wedge. The Perfect Club's shorter shaft not only places you in your best and most athletic posture, it gives you a greater sense of confidence because you are closer to the golf ball. The increased confidence of being closer to the ball and playing the ball in the center of your stance lets you make a significantly more aggressive golf swing resulting in straighter and exponentially more consistent hits.
10.Tell me about swing weight and head weight...
Comfortable golf club swing weights range from C9 to about D6. The longer the shaft, the lighter the clubhead must be to maintain a constant swing weight. The PERFECT CLUB 347 has a swing weight of D3. Since the PERFECT CLUB has a shorter shaft than nearly all other metal woods, we are able to put more weight in the clubhead giving it more mass behind the ball resulting in more solid shots for you.
